An alumnus of Williams College with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Nathaniel Whittle worked as a mergers and acquisitions intern at Bristow Group while pursuing his degree. Nathaniel Whittle also held several volunteering positions at the Berkshire Food Project and the Open Door Mission. Established in 1954, Open Door Mission Houston is a non-profit rehabilitation facility that serves to transform the lives of people suffering from drug addiction. The organization offers free physical and mental health restoration programs for the aforementioned group of population. In 2017, Open Door Mission launched its Career Guidance Program, which is tailored to support recipients of recovery programs through sustainable career development. The Career Guidance Program aims to add meaningful life and productivity to the existing organizational mission, promoting a healthy lifestyle. Trained and experienced staff of Open Door Mission will guide men through education and training needed to earn jobs and make them worthy of promotion.
